I agree that government has done nothing for QC since the fire

Dear Sir,

I refer to a letter by Kim Hollingsworth captioned "Queen's College can look forward to a brighter day" (SN 6-12-99).

I agree with most of Mr John Warrington's views as they relate to Queen's College. Often they are consistent with those expressed by other parents.

If indeed he has an obsession with Queen's College, it is the manifestation of a commitment given to his children, that is, to ensure that they receive a good education.

Having read Hollingsworth's letter, however, I am reminded of the story about the King and his magic suit. Like the little boy in that story. I am yet to see the Queen's College that she is talking about.

I take the liberty to invite Kim to our next Parent Teachers Association (PTA) meeting so that the `King's clothes' can be described in greater detail.
